What To Do

Hello, I was just wondering what everyone does to keep their young children entertained in the evenings and on weekends in Geoje? Any playgroups or activities you can suggest would be appreciated.

There are a lot of playgrounds in the town, for example near the foreigners club and Aju-dong (near the tunnel to Geohjong).
You can also use some swimmingpools, like in the Geoje Art Center in Jangseunpo, Sports plaza at the DSME, near Evervill.
And on Saturday there is a private football club on the yard of the OIS.
Children (4/5 - 8 years) 2-3 p.m.
Children (9 - 12 years) 3-4 p.m.
There a lot of children who join - girls and boys.
Just come and have a look.

There are several activities for children under the age of 3.....a few of us have started a playgroup for children ages 3 and under. We meet on Wednesday mornings. If anyone is interested in more info, you can contact me at reasonablefaith2002@yahoo.com
or find us here on the web: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Okpoplaygroup/?prop=eupdate

Home Plus (in Gohyeon, approx 15 min from Okpo) also has music and dance classes of various types that you can sign up for (approx $90 for 3 months, once a week).

There are also no lack of moms with young children who get together for playtimes at the park or someone's house to help the mornings pass more quickly. Feel free to contact me if you would like to be introduced!

Hi
We are due to move over in August 2014 with our 4 year old.
I was wondering if there are any playground etc which include 4 year olds? I have contacted the international school but hours are quite long every day of the week. We are coming from Australia for 12 months. Are there any other schooling options or does anybody know a tutor?
Thanks
Anita
