Tried Jenny's for the first time last week, she might speak good English but like you said she certainly is a very erratic person. In the midst of a hair cut she started playing the piano....... Very odd,!,,,,, the pedicure was no good too...,!!!! Certainly not going there again.

That was my experience too! I'm not even sure she properly understands english as after askign her for a trim she went right ahead and made my hair very short. Eva, above Caramello organic cafe in Jangpyonh near Samsung Village is a much better experience and haircut (for men and women)!!

I also had a bad experience with Jenny. We discussed the color and cut that I wanted, and then she did what she wanted instead of what I asked for. The color was two shades darker than I asked for, and the cut was much shorter. I definitely won't be going back!

Jenny, I agree with your comments and if anyone has a problrm with your establishment, then it would be better if they are directed to you and not via these message boards.
I am sure that you will address all criticism, both positive and negative, in a totally proffesional manner.

Jenny is good and I have nothing to complain.
Maybe the complainers did not explain properly what they want or there was some miscommunication due to the language difference?
Keep up the good work Jenny!

If you stand back to the GS supermarket main entrance there is a small street on the left side. Go through it until you reach the place, about 100 or 200 meters. The place has print of INOA LOREAL on the window. The owner is a very sweet girl who speaks very good english and she looks to be very professional. I highly recommend her!

Well, this is an open forum for expressing personal opinions, good and bad experiences have the right to be heard, and that is the reason of the question in first place.
It is not a matter of criticizing someone or someplace in particular, but I think it is always good to know about the personal experiences of all expats here in Geoje.
I think that sometimes some Koreans, no matter if they speak good english, there is a problem of coMmunication and they don't understand quite well what the expats want from a specific service.
And it is also a matter of personal appreciation for some services, and not always we have the same opinion. For example, I can tell you that for me Jenny's saloon is a good haircut saloon, but a friend of mine had a very bad experience with Jenny.
So it is a matter of personal opinions and this is an open forum for all the expats we are living here in Geoje, and it is not good to hide or not to express bad opinions, because sometime it is very hard to deal with some korean services also.
So the main idea is to help us each other between expats, with all ideas and opinions, not only Korean opinions but mainly expats thoughts and experiences since this the GEOJE FOREIGN RESIDENT ASSOCIATION FORUM.
And there are a lot of good places where to have an excellent haircut in Geoje.

I just went to Jenny's Salon and it was great! I got highlights and a trim, and the color came out awesome. Jenny and her assistant got me in and out in less than an hour AND I got a sweet head massage while she was shampooing. The price was good too. I paid a total of 70,000 won. I'd definitely go back and recommend this salon to others.

There is also a salon down the road from Jennys, same block. Just across the road from Norwegian seamen church. She speaks good English and does a nice job + it doesnt cost much :) She does my boys for 10000 and me/hubby for 20000.

Hi Lauren, we left kuala lumpur several days ago. There are plenty waxing place there. You'd like to have it done there rather than in geoje as, even if there's such service hete, you will likely to pay 5x higher :)

Hello everybody,

I also looked for a haircut in Okpo and find Jenny's via internet. I went there on Friday afternoon but unfortunately it was closed. With notice at the window "open by appointment". :-/
So I found here the hint with "Stylique W.".

I'm just back from it and I'm really satisfied. Maybe their english is not so good (but mine also not), but they understand what I want.
Of course a men short haircut isn't as much difficult as a womens maybe, but I'm happy with the result.

So if I have to stay here longer and I need one once again, I will go to "Stylique W." again.

So long,
S-ian

I can't speak too highly of Eva in Janpyeon, above Caramello. She is open late very night, speaks great English and has a lovely salon.

Try it, you won't regret it!

Eva has just cut my very short hair for the first time and done a great job, Thanks! Lovely lady, very pleasant salon. But the business downstairs has changed, so Raojena Hair is now above 'U+Telecom', just down the street from the Post office.
